Terms of Service

Welcome to Padelora: Padel Score App (the "App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the iPhone application, the companion Apple Watch app, related widgets/complications, and any updates (together, the "Services"). By downloading, installing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and applicable Apple rules.

2. Apple Watch Companion

The Apple Watch app is a companion to the iPhone app. You need a compatible Apple Watch paired with an iPhone that has the App installed for full functionality. Features on Watch may include:

• Live match scoring from your wrist
• Sync of match state with the iPhone app when devices are connected
• Quick start and match history (availability may depend on subscription tier)
• Heart-rate and calorie display during matches when HealthKit access is granted (Plus)
• Watch face widgets/complications showing summary stats

WatchConnectivity and network conditions may affect sync speed or availability. The iPhone app remains the primary place for full history, tactics and detailed stats unless otherwise stated in the App.

3. HealthKit Disclaimer

If you use workout or heart-rate features on Apple Watch, you consent to Apple HealthKit permissions you approve. Padelora displays wellness metrics for informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a substitute for professional healthcare. Consult a physician before strenuous exercise if you have health concerns.

4. Padelora Plus Subscription

The Services offer an optional auto-renewing subscription, Padelora Plus. Plus unlocks premium features on both iPhone and Apple Watch, including but not limited to:

• Unlimited finished matches per calendar month
• Full match history and match details
• Advanced statistics — win rate, streaks, weekly activity, chemistry
• Unlimited tactics board and save-to-Photos on iPhone
• Heart-rate zones and enhanced workout stats on Apple Watch
• Live Activity on iPhone during active matches

Padelora Plus is available as:

• Weekly subscription — USD $5.99 per week (or the equivalent in your local currency as shown in the App Store). New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial; after the trial ends, your Apple ID is charged the weekly price unless you cancel before the trial ends. The subscription auto-renews every week until canceled.
• Lifetime access — a one-time payment of USD $39.99 (or local equivalent) for permanent Plus access on your Apple ID. This is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.

Exact prices, trial eligibility and billing periods are always shown in the App and on Apple’s purchase sheet before you confirm. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change; any change applies to new purchases and renewals as permitted by Apple.

5. Billing, Free Trial and Auto-Renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a purchase on iPhone or Apple Watch.
• For the weekly plan with a free trial: you will not be charged during the 3-day trial if you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends; otherwise Apple charges the weekly price and the subscription renews automatically each week until canceled.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Lifetime purchases are charged once; use Restore Purchases if you reinstall or switch devices under the same Apple ID.
• Restore Purchases is available in the App for both subscription and lifetime access.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.

6. Free Tier

Without an active Plus subscription, you may use a limited free experience, including a capped number of finished matches per calendar month (currently 3 per month; we may adjust this limit with reasonable notice in the App). Other features — such as full history, advanced stats, tactics, chemistry details and Watch heart-rate zones — may be locked or limited until you subscribe.

Social Features (Friends & Weekly Leaderboard)

The App may offer optional social features, including:

• A friend code and invite link so you can connect with people you know
• Adding and removing friends by code (mutual connection)
• A weekly friends leaderboard ranking you and your friends by match wins for the current week (available when you have at least two friends)
• Display of an optional nickname, avatar, win/loss record and streaks to friends you connect with

Social features are for personal, non-commercial use among people you choose to connect with. You are responsible for your nickname and for only sharing your friend code with people you trust. Leaderboard standings reset weekly (Monday, based on your timezone setting). We may modify, limit or discontinue social features at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the Services except as allowed by law.
• Use the Services for illegal, harmful or fraudulent purposes.
• Circumvent subscription, quota or security controls.
• Interfere with the Services or other users’ use of Apple platforms.

8. User Content

You may enter player names, scores, tactics and ratings. Match and tactic content is stored locally on your devices (and synced between your devices via Apple frameworks as described in our Privacy Policy). If you use social features, you may also provide a nickname, optional avatar, and match results that are synced to our servers to power friends lists and weekly leaderboards. You retain ownership of your content and are responsible for its accuracy and legality. Do not use offensive, misleading or impersonating nicknames.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes analytics (Firebase, Mixpanel), anonymous technical identifiers, HealthKit, Watch sync, and third-party services such as RevenueCat.

10. Intellectual Property

The Services, including name, logo, design, and code, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or brand assets.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free scoring, or perfect sync between iPhone and Apple Watch.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including reliance on scores, stats or health metrics displayed in the App.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time by deleting the Apps from your devices, or use Settings → Delete Account in the iPhone App to delete your anonymous app account, clear associated local data and start fresh. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable consumer-protection laws in your country of residence, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
