Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Roamivo. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Roamivo.

1. What Roamivo provides

Roamivo creates recreational walking quests using your location, Apple Maps points of interest, estimated walking routes, and checkpoint progress. Route duration, distance, accessibility, opening hours, and point-of-interest information are estimates and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.

2. Beta software

TestFlight versions are prerelease software provided for evaluation. Features may change, fail, reset local data, or be unavailable. Please report problems through the support link without posting sensitive personal or location information publicly.

3. Outdoor safety

You are solely responsible for your surroundings and decisions while using Roamivo. Keep attention on traffic, crossings, weather, terrain, local restrictions, and other people. Do not enter private, closed, unsafe, restricted, or unlawful areas. Do not handle the phone while driving or cycling.

Roamivo is not an emergency, rescue, medical, fitness, or professional navigation service. Never rely on it where failure or inaccurate information could cause injury, property damage, or legal risk. If a route or checkpoint appears unsafe or inaccessible, stop, choose another safe path, skip or replace the checkpoint, or end the quest.

4. Location, GPS, and background operation

The core experience requires location permission. GPS accuracy, internet availability, device settings, battery state, buildings, terrain, and iOS behavior may affect tracking. Background updates and Live Activities are controlled partly by iOS and are not guaranteed, especially after you manually force-quit the app.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Roamivo only lawfully and for personal, non-commercial recreation. You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, falsify activity for abuse, violate property rights, or use a quest to endanger or harass anyone.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum digital-consent age required in your country. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must approve your use and supervise outdoor activity as appropriate.

7. Local data and availability

The current build stores profile, quest, and history data locally. Deleting the app may permanently delete that information. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, successful route generation, recovery of local data, or continued compatibility with every device or iOS version.

8. Apple services and third-party content

Map content, places, and directions are provided using Apple services and remain subject to Apple's applicable terms. Roamivo does not control or endorse places shown on the map. Business names, availability, access, and conditions may change. The Apple Standard EULA may also apply to your download and use of the app.

9. Purchases

Roamivo offers monthly and annual auto-renewable Plus subscriptions. Plus unlocks longer routes and detailed route history. The exact price and billing period are displayed by the App Store before confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled and can be managed or canceled in your App Store account settings. Previously purchased access can be restored in the app. No free trial is offered unless the App Store purchase sheet explicitly states otherwise.

Billing, cancellation, and refund eligibility are handled by Apple and are subject to the applicable App Store terms and consumer law. Deleting Roamivo does not cancel an active subscription.

10. Intellectual property

Roamivo's original software, visual design, branding, and content are owned by the developer or used under applicable licenses. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app. They do not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale, reverse engineering where prohibited, or creation of a competing service from protected materials.

11. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Roamivo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, safety, availability, or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of Roamivo, reliance on routes or places, loss of local data, interruption, or inability to use the app. Liability that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected.

13. Suspension and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may restrict use that violates these Terms or creates risk. Updated Terms will show a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.

14. Governing rules

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections and rights in your country remain unaffected. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
